The WateReuse Association, a national trade association representing municipalities, water utilities and businesses engaged in water reuse, is seeking an Event Planner to join a dynamic team of professionals engaged in water recycling-related policy, advocacy and communications. The Event Planner will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of event logistics for the Association’s multi-day Annual Symposium in September, provide event planning assistance to annual conferences of our regional and state sections as needed, and provide logistical support for workshops and at least two regular meetings of the Association’s Board of Directors. The position reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Program Operations.
The ideal candidate should have at least five years of event planning experience, be enthusiastic and outgoing, highly motivated and comfortable working with C-suite level executives. Bachelor’s degree required. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work with water professionals nation-wide. Travel is required, a competitive salary and benefits are provided.
