Plan, execute, and evaluate all conferences, seminars, events, and special programs. Facilitate all aspects of industry, career, and recruitment events including facilities, budgeting, participant communications, and vendor relations and payments. Oversee social media for the School events and provide reports to the supervisor.
Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience in conference and event development and management, budget and staff supervision or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified meeting planner or Master's degree in a related field preferred.
Superior analytical, communication, event and project management, multi-tasking, proofreading and copyediting, and Microsoft Office skills. Strong database management and tracking, presentation, and public speaking skills. Superior ability to conveptualize, create, highly refine, and present content in academic, corporate, and online environments, including podcasts and social media vehicles. Strong abiity to work independently and across diverse student and alumni populations, institutional offices, vendors, and professional organizations and associations. Some evening and weekend work is required. Some travel may be required. Light lifting and transporting of on-and off-campus items may be necessary. Familiarity with Adobe Design Suite, social media, and budget tracking, reconciliation, and reporting preferred.
