**Weekend support required for approximately 5 events in the Spring and approximately 5 events in the Fall. This position plays a critical role in supporting these events.
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

This role is a unique opportunity to gain a wide range of exposure in multiple different areas. The work involves a combination of project management, coordinating medical education, and overseeing accreditation compliance and regulation adherence.
Project Management - Able to efficiently and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. Able to prioritize projects with competing timelines. - Seamlessly interact with high-level internal leaders in multiple departments. - Coordinate content development, faculty/speaker correspondence, logistics, budgeting and ancillary services.
Coordinate Medical Education - Direct the analysis, program format design, and preparation of educational materials. - Experience preparing educational materials of multiple formats: live conferences, seminars, web-based programs, ongoing series and other hybrid activities that meet the needs of physicians and other healthcare professionals. - Work simultaneously on a variety of educational initiatives with multiple specialties from across the spectrum of medicine and healthcare that include post-doctoral, research, national and international conferences, innovative web-based curricula, ongoing series in leadership, and other related healthcare areas.
Oversee Accreditation Compliance and Regulation adherence - Acts primary liaison for all Inova CME educational activities inclusive of regulatory and ACCME (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education) coordination and documentation. - Serve as educational liaison and accreditation expert for the development and implementation of multiple continuing medical education activities. - Monitor accreditation compliance for educational activities and educate stakeholders on the consequences of an accreditation violation, probation or revocation of accreditation.
Build Functional Relationships with Internal and External Clients - Develop working relationship with clients and third party vendors. - Works with internal IHS Marketing and outsourced marketing vendors in order to execute marketing initiatives, coordinate content, design, printing and mailing of direct mail pieces. - In addition, coordinates all web and web-based promotion efforts.
