Reporting to the Vice President for Campus Services, the Executive Director, Events Management is responsible for the scheduling and management of all on-campus events and major off-campus events such as commencement. The incumbent oversees staff that manage event approval, planning, and execution, along with the development and management of related policies and procedures. Constituents and customers include a broad range of campus community members, including faculty, students, staff, trustees, and outside stakeholders.

Required Qualification Summary:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 6 to 10 years related experience as a project manager or planner of campus-wide events.
Academic experience and the ability to relate positively to college students.
Strong computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, databases, e-mail, web.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Ability to work some nights and weekends.
Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification is preferred.
