To provide technical and operational audio/video support for the increasing amount of live, field, studio and virtual productions that are occurring at Oakland University.
Bachelor's Degree (Broadcasting, Cinema Studies, Film and Video Arts, Media Studies, Marketing, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or closely related) or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience;
Three years of video production experience: image acquisition, audio production, post production editing, lighting, streaming and live event support;
Three years of video production experience in field and studio production for corporate, hospitality, higher education or audio-visual staging company;
Must be able to work evenings and weekends and maintain a flexible schedule that is aligned with scheduled university event activity;
Ability to work with a variety of university personnel and event planners, in the design, execution and support of live, field and studio productions both on and off campus;
Ability to work independently and in a team environment with strong critical thinking and problem solving skills;
Ability to learn and teach related video and live event skills;
Experience in media and asset management and archiving;
Record of exceptional customer service;
Dedicated, professional remote working environment with strong and reliable internet connectivity;
Must be physically able to move equipment throughout campus, load and unload vehicles, and lift a minimum of fifty pounds;
Strong written, oral and visual communication skills;
A valid vehicle operator's license and a driving record acceptable to the university are required.

Advanced knowledge of video cameras: Canon C100/C200, Canon 5D Mark IV, JVC 850, JVC 600 style cameras.
Knowledge of post-production editing, graphics and effects software applications, demonstrated competency of video compression utilizing industry standard software applications, and proficiency in database and asset management applications and practices.
Knowledge of ADA compliance standards and practices a plus.
Proficient operating Microsoft and Google platforms and related applications. Strong Microsoft skillset, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
