Responsible for meeting, conference and incentive travel planning. Manages destination searches and selection, procurement and vendor contracting, participant enrollment, program planning, pre-trip graphic design and print materials, and all on-site logistics. Develops and maintains program budgets ranging from $50K-14MM.
If you are not located close to a physical office, remote work is considered for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities - Manage details of destination selection and proposal, hotel room block preparation, program food and beverage events coordination, transportation logistics, entertainment and theme events development.
- Oversee all aspects of the program registration process, promotion and pre-trip graphic materials.
- Negotiate contract terms and vendor qualifications to secure bids and design program budgets.
- Coordinate all staff operations manuals, uniforms and travel itineraries.
- Assist with hiring and scheduling freelance travel staff for program operations. May be directly or indirectly accountable for the work of one or more employees.
Required Qualifications - Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- 5 plus years relevant experience
- Ability to manage and maintain positive client and vendor relationships and work in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and coordinate several items for an event.
- On-site operational experience in domestic and international travel programs.
- Minimum of five years as a meeting planner or similar experience in the hospitality and/or group travel industry.
