We are looking for an experienced Corporate Receptionist to be the initial point of contact our Amegy Tower corporate headquarters in Houston, TX for visitors including customers, current or prospective employees, vendors, and business partners. Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to:
Greet visitors, directly assist clients when appropriate and refer to others when necessary
Monitor the Amegy Reception Desk telephone lines and manage the distribution of incoming calls
Oversee the Amegy Reception email inbox and respond to inquiries accordingly in a timely manner
Ensure the reception lobby is clean, neat, and organized (i.e., coffee station, newspapers, etc.)
Manage conference room usage to include scheduling and coordinating logistics with Event Planner and Information Technology (IT)/Audio Visual (AV) service as required
Monitor the Amegy Reception SharePoint site throughout the day for new meeting requests
Book meeting requests and create event set-up meetings
Partner closely with the Event Planner to schedule and coordinate small scale events
Assist guests/employees with temporary badges
Take photos for new hire badges
Ensure the copy room is clean, organized, and stocked with paper
Check all meeting spaces on the Reception Floor after each event to ensure room cleanliness in preparation for future use
Maintain event forms and distribute weekly reports
Receive and process invoices for event related payments
Maintain various facility ad end event related reports
Uphold ethical, professional, and courteous relationships
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years' experience working as receptionist in a similar corporate role/environment
Must have strong telephone skills
Possess skills and high comfort level with technology
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to follow-up and be responsive
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to change
Must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, and work ethic
Team-player who can work independently but also deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Hours of Work:
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This is a full-time position: 40.00 hours per week.
