Telecommuting is allowed.
- The Association Manager works directly with the Executive Director and staff team to ensure the operational success of the client association.
- Manages membership databases, record-keeping, reporting and other administrative tasks.
- Develops and manages association website content.
- Acts as primary contact for members, non-members and interested parties, responding to mail, email and telephone calls.
- Develops Board and committee agendas.
- Develops and maintains annual communications plan and coordinates distribution of email communications to members and other identified audiences.
- Reviews and analyzes information affecting members and drafts and disseminates appropriate reports and other communications.
- Supports committees and advances projects and programs of committees.
- Self-directed, flexible, team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to think strategically and use independent judgment.
- Good keyboard and MS application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management skills; Dreamweaver experience a plus.
- Minimum 2 years association management experience and bachelor’s degree required.
