The purpose of this Program Coordinator position is to participate in the design, conduct, analysis, and presentation of research studies. Provide support to all aspects of studies by completing Institutional Review Board applications, modifications, and status reports. Develop and maintain adherence to research protocols, and standard operating procedures, and verify accuracy of research data. Continue excellent communication with sponsors, monitors, health care providers and outside agencies regarding ongoing research activities. Recruit, screen, and approach potential subjects and determine eligibility according to established criteria. Schedule, conduct, and document research study visits using case reports forms according to institutional and sponsor guidelines. Coordinate various meetings with study staff, collaborators and other stakeholders, including community partners. Determine study costs and build a budget for new studies, while complying with institutional specific billing regulations. Ideally, the program Coordinator II will also support data management including data quality control processes; principal investigators with quantitative and qualitative data analysis; abstract and manuscript writing; and future grant writing and support.

• Understand of Manuscript or grant writing and data management.

• Maintain data management.

• coordinates administrative, personnel and logistical support for a defined department program (s), often of a large and/or complex nature.

• Carries out established program objectives and directives.

• Follows established guidelines or protocols.

• Determines the best approach to accomplish assignments.

• May participate in program planning and in setting program objectives.

• May supervise support staff.

• May act as a communication liaison and special events planner.

• Interfaces with outside resources such as volunteers, alumni, patients, other professionals in a defined field or with continuing education students.

• May be responsible for adherence to program budget and/or other fiscal duties.

• May assist with grant and contract preparation and submission.

• May handle data management.

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Written and verbal communication skills

• Interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment.

• Excellent computer skills, including basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power point); shared drives (e.g., Box, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox); and statistical software packages (e.g., R, SAS, or STATA)

• Problem-solving skills, attention to details

Hourly Range- $18.35-29.80

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• and one (1) year of related experience required.

• OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
