Summary and Scope of Position: The primary responsibility of the Manager of Event Technology is to provide leadership for planning and implementing audio-visual (AV), lighting, sound enhancement, content capture, and other technical support to major and special events hosted in venues across campus and to provide ongoing stewardship of the event technology infrastructure under the areas that Library and IT has primary responsibility.  The Manager takes primary leadership from the Deputy Chief Information Officer within LIT. The secondary responsibility of this position is to provide ongoing stewardship and maintenance of the college’s classroom technology across campus, while helping to design and implement leading-edge replacement technologies
